Join us for an evening of education & action to learn how YOU can support 100% clean energy in the Granite School District 🌎📢

This event is organized by the Student Coalition for 100% Clean Energy Schools. Together, we are calling on the Granite School District to pass a 100% Clean Energy Resolution that would commit the district to achieve 100% clean, renewable electricity by 2030, and to electrify heating, cooling, cooking, and transportation by 2040.

Recently the District announced that “The goals outlined in the resolution are not attainable.” But we know this is not the case! Both the Salt Lake City and Park City School Districts have made similar clean energy commitments. Not to mention Salt Lake County, Millcreek, Holladay, and Kearns — communities which the Granite School District directly serves— have already pledged to use renewable electricity by 2030 💚

Join us tomorrow to learn how YOU can support clean energy in Granite School District, and to meet the Activists driving this important work. We’ll hear from leaders from Granite Clean Energy and UYES, and will have the opportunity to sign post cards and take action to call for a Clean Energy Future!
