Our statewide water justice campaign addresses pressing water management concerns in Utah and the greater Southwest, with an emphasis on protecting the Great Salt Lake.
The Great Salt Lake has shrunk by more than half in the past few decades. As the lake dries up, we face unimaginable consequences, such as toxic dust storms that exacerbate Salt Lake City’s already polluted air, rapidly decreasing wildlife populations, and the possibility of contaminated drinking water. By failing to take meaningful action, Utah leaders are stealing our future from us – we must act now!
